Broken Bow Cabin Reviews

For this trip, we planned to spend our time exclusively at the Cabin. And the Cabin provided all we needed for our entire stay. However, we do come to the area often and have enjoyed many of the areas offerings. Among the things we have enjoyed are boating (the pontoons are a great family activity on beautiful Broken Bow Lake), fishing, hiking the many trails, the maze and many local restaurants. We have thoroughly enjoyed many visits to the Forest Heritage Center Museum located in Beavers Bend State Park. We chose Skippin Rocks for the place we wanted to experience a once in a lifetime total solar eclipse! We had scouted it out on previous visits to the area and planned for our stay here a year in advance. It did not disappoint! We were thrilled with the total experience. The closeness to the town was enhanced by the seclusion of the deep forest with a private beach! Our entire family was amazed with the available activities without the need to leave the property. It was peaceful and exceeded our expectations.

We enjoyed the train ride at Beaver Bend State park, the Maze of Hochatown, the Broken Tiki tour of Broken Bow Lake (the bus ride to get to the boat was also fun), and Chili Dippers miniature golf. Sweetwater Cabins kept us informed and gave us all the needed information in a timely fashion. They provided very thorough instructions for all aspects of our stay including emergency information which fortunately we didn't need to use. This 6-bedrooms / 4-bathroom cabin was stunningly beautiful with high vaulted ceilings and a towering stone fireplace. The many amenities included: an outdoor spa, a fire pit, corn hole, horse shoes, a cover patio with a table and a propane grill, a child's playset with swings, climbing wall and a tire swing, a game room with a foosball table and an NBA Jams video game, a full-size washer and dryer, and ample parking for multiple vehicles. We stayed there with 10 people and had plenty of room. All kitchenware, towels, and linens were provided. The road to the cabin is a bit rough but we didn't have any trouble negotiating it. The cabin is also located very close to The Market at 529 with is a small but very convenient grocery store.

Walking around Beaver Bend State Park. Amazing house! The house was beautiful, well equipped, and very welcoming. Every bathroom had soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body soap that was good quality. There was a welcome basket with kettle corn popcorn (gourmet) and eclipse glasses for our group including for a camera. So welcoming. The back porch was so peaceful with no cabins behind it and babbling creek. Everything was perfect.

We enjoyed the great variety of restaurant's and breweries. Easy to book through the Sweetwater Cabin website and easy to communicate with. They provided all the necessary information for our stay and responded to emails quickly. The cabin is in a beautiful and serene location. We had privacy but didn't feel secluded. It is at the end of the road and no other cars ever drove by. The back deck of the cabin looks out to a wooded area and we saw deer feeding one night. It is calm and peaceful place to sit in front of the gas fireplace, relax in the hot tub, or make s'mores on the outdoor firepit. The front deck looks across and open field and is the perfect place to sit and watch the sunset. The cabin is also a short distance from a restaurants and recreational activities.

Was not there long enough to explore but will be back. The cabin was well equipped had everything we needed and more creek in backyard ping pong, pool table , horse shoes and much more. it was Beautiful quiet I wish I could have gotten there sooner

The Hochatown Maze was a fun outdoor activity, and the Mountainfork Brewery was great to visit as well. Cabin was clean and amenities were functional and easy to use. Check in and check out were easy and streamlined and all pertinent info was communicated clearly and with ample notice. Clean, spacious, exactly as pictured.

Many activities to choose from! Cabin was pristine clean! Very inviting and comfortable! Checking was simple and communication great! We had everything we needed. Great location close to stores and action but still quiet and private!

Hiking and kayaking. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed! Cabin was perfect and very comfortable!

Putt putt, bowling and visiting the local shops and restaurants. From booking to checkout, the process was easy. Beautiful cabin, perfectly thought out and a great fit for our family. Our teenage boys loved the theater room.

We love hanging at Abendigos for the delicious food & live music! My husband & teen also went fly fishing with Chris Schutte & despite the constant rain that day, had a wonderful time. Cabin management was great! No complaints.

Looking for Bigfoot

The Cabin was so nice we didn't get out much. However, we did take a short hike on one of the trails, went to the maze, had pizza at Grateful Head. Planned to do more, but just relaxed and spent family time together. Smores around the fire pit!!

We visited Abendigo's Grill and really enjoyed the food here. I had a great experience with the hosts of Sweetwater Cabins - they responded to any calls and resolved any issues with ease and had great customer service. We had an amazing stay at the Lazy Dog cabin! We had a group of 10 come in to celebrate a family birthday and the cabin was spacious enough for everyone to spread out and relax. The outside fire pit and hot tub were excellent amenities that made this cabin even cozier. The kitchen was spacious enough for us to host with ease and came equipped with everything we needed and more. The directions provided by the host made it very easy to find our cabin and definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The cabin (lodge) appeared as advertised. The furniture and beds were clean and comfortable. There was plenty of dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. The griddle worked great. The hot tub sauna was the hit of the group. You did everything as promised. No surprises.

Hiking trails and fishing. Everything went great, no problems. No issues, great communication. Clean, modern, well equipped, lots of extras available.

Gutter Chaos is somewhere we love to.go everytime we are in Hotchatown. Also, during the season we love to go Kayaking in the state park. Everything was great! Cabin was beautiful and clean when we arrived.

We went fishing in the area and hiked around the water. Sweet water cabin staff was very courteous and thorough. I received emails regarding our stay that were detailed so we knew exactly what to expect. Our crew had 4 couples and 4 kids. It was very nice to have king beds and private bathrooms for each couple. The kids had a blast in the bunk room playing games, playing arcade and watching TV. The back porch was a cozy yet roomy place to hang out. The hot tub and fire pit were an extra bonus.

We like to just unplug. But we zip lined, did the maze, went bowling and played pool, rode the go-carts, and checked out the new safari. Loved the hot tub. The freckled fox lived up to its name! On our first morning there, we actually saw a little fox down by the pond. It was so cool! The cabin was clean, the beds were comfortable, and our kiddo loved the upstairs bunk room where he had his own space to Hang out. We called and booked our trip on very short notice. We booked the freckled fox, and absolutely loved it! It was perfect for a weekend to unplug! Everything went so smooth!

Shopping, eating and exploring! Very nice cabin and extremely clean.
